dMITRY REKIN

Was born on 30.05.1973 in Nizhny Novgorod (Russia).

In 1996 he graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod State Architectural and Construction Academy. He is the founder of the author’s workshop RekinArt (since 2006). Also he is the co-founder of the International Design Festival “Strelka” (since 2006). Now he is the professor of Graphic Design Department in Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Construction (since 2009). He is the member of: Artists Union of Russia (since 1997), Designers Union of Russia (since 1997).

Regular participant of Russian and international design festivals and competitions. Professional Awards: The First place at the Biennale of Poster Bolivia BICeBé 2019 (Bolivia, 2020), Golden Bee Award. Category: Cyrillic Typoposters (Russia, 2018), Bronze Medal On International Poster Biennale Lublin (Poland, 2017), The First prize at the International trienniale of eco-posters «4 BLOK», nomination «Ecology of culture», (Ukraine, 2015) and more.
