Izabela Kowalska-Wieczorek

I am an artist from Poland. In 1980 I graduated in graphic design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. I have practiced various arts, incl. painting, graphic design. I have been dealing with children’s illustration for over 30 years. I have also been a cartoonist since 2013. I have won many awards and

I am grateful and proud that I can participate in the important project «Posters for fighting and lifting up our spirit». This is an extremely valuable achievement. It is not only a great cultural and artistic event, but also a much needed social initiative. This action allows people to believe, frightened and completely isolated, that they are not alone and that we will overcome the worst of adversities together. Many thanks for the beautiful action based on the motto: “From the trenches, one day less, one more design. Design is on fire».
