The spread of dangerous unknown viruses is the biggest problem for everyone around the world. It is important to believe in science and medical professionals and to endure special daily routines.
Daisuke Kashiwa (born 1987, Miyagi) is a illustrator, poster artist and educator. In 2017, he submitted his dissertation «Methodology for the Creation of Strange Shapes in Illustration» to Tama Art University in Tokyo, and recieved a doctorate. Currently, he has taught Illustration and Poster Design at J.F. Oberlin University and Tama Art University in Tokyo.
As a poster artist, he participated in numerous international poster biennales such as Toyama, Mexico, Chaumont, Trnava and Moscow. He won the Mayor of the City of Brno Award at 26th International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno and the Gold Award at the Graphis Poster Annual 2020. He was also an international jury at the Bolivia Poster Biennial 2019. He is currently a member of the International Poster Design Council BICeBé.
